Terms of service

These terms govern purchases from CLAVAKIT (“we”), email hello@clavakit.store. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Products and prices

We sell the products described on this site. Prices are shown in US dollars; for EU customers VAT is included at checkout. Promotional prices (for example the Early Winter Sale) apply until the end date shown on the page, after which the regular price applies. We may correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch; if we do, you may cancel for a full refund.

2. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send the shipping confirmation. We may decline orders that cannot be fulfilled, that fail fraud checks, or that exceed 10 units per product per customer.

3. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout via the methods shown there. Card and wallet data are processed by the payment provider; we never see full card numbers.

4. Delivery

Delivery estimates and costs are on the shipping page and form part of these terms. Risk passes to you on delivery.

5. Withdrawal and returns

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law; how to use it is in our refund policy. Worn face coverings are exempt for hygiene reasons unless faulty.

6. Faulty goods

You have a two-year legal guarantee of conformity in the EU. If a product is faulty, contact us; we repair, replace or refund at our cost.

7. Product use

Our balaclavas are sun, wind and cold-weather face coverings and costume accessories. They are not personal protective equipment, not filtering masks, and provide no impact protection. Do not wear a face covering where local law prohibits it (some countries restrict face coverings in public).

8. Intellectual property

Site content, the CLAVAKIT name and mark are ours. Product prints are supplied by the manufacturer under licence.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Law and disputes

Slovak law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. EU consumers may use the EU online dispute resolution platform. Alternative dispute resolution in Slovakia: Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you order applies to that order.
